Receive Overviews of Financial Literacy Instructional Materials and Resources from Local, State, and National Organizations

Choose five - 45 minute in-person sessions to attend during the South Carolina Finance Forum.

Do you need suggestions on how to improve engagement with classroom instructional skills? Do you want to teach your students relevant lessons to help them become financially prepared for the future? Then, the SC Finance Forum is for you!

This is the ideal conference to locate a variety of excellent K-12 financial literacy instructions and tools to implement the SC Department of Education’s standards. You will experience unique discussions and strategies from local, state, and national organizations to help your students become financially prepared for the future. Attend quality professional development while networking with other school leaders! Teachers, administrators, and support staff, will have the opportunity to learn from established experts; up to five 45-minute in-person sessions.

The SC Finance Forum is set for Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the beautiful conference facility at Embassy Suites Columbia Greystone, 200 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, SC (803-252-8700). For those who will be staying overnight, Embassy has placed a courtesy hold on a block of guest rooms on a first-come first served basis at the rate of $109. This rate expires at 5 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

The SC Finance Forum will provide a total of 30 concurrent spread over five sessions. Select your five sessions throughout the following breakout session schedule:

Registration begins at 9:00 am

Session 1 from 9:30 am to 10:15 am

Session 2 from 10:30 am to 11:15 am

Session 3 from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm

Lunch and General Session from 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm

Session 4 from 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm

Session 5 from 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm

Receive FIVE Recertification Credits!

Teachers who attend will receive 5 recertification credits issued by the South Carolina Department of Education.
